I'm Sorry, who are you guys?

Yesterday I went to the grocery store, for a much needed and VERY overdue shopping trip. I have almost blown my entire grocery budget on Sonic because I had nothing in my house to eat. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. So I got everything. Corn dogs, chicken nuggets, sandwich meats, tater tots, apples all their favorite lunch foods (we are aiming for healthy family of the year).

So today for lunch I asked everybody what they wanted and they all said, unanimously, "SALAD!!!". I'm sorry, what did you say? "SALAD!!!". Wait, one more time... "SALAD!!!". You get the idea. They were so excited about it too, like they were eating their birthday cake or something. Wha?

So they all had heaping plates of salad. Heaping. Then they had seconds. Ethan even had thirds.

But don't worry, I am still okay, I am drinking Diet Dr. Pepper with Cherry and Vanilla (of course) and eating some pringles. I can't remember, why am I still fat? I mean I drink diet. Alright, alright... I'll go make a little salad.

It always confuses me when my kids beg for the salad or veggies. I was NOT like that as a kid - what's wrong with them?!

My kids would rather die than ask for salad. But they do get all happy when we have steamed veggies with cheese.

And I love that pic...my dh swears that it tastes just like cough syrup. I'll drink anything Dr. Pepper, ya know I should be getting kick backs for all the service I provide them.
